Travel Grant

This year, we are offering ONE travel grant for registered participants from developing countries to attend the conference in Antwerp. The grant includes a lump sum of 1000 euros towards travel and accommodation.

The grant is not a cash prize. The grant will reimburse up to the lump sum amount of 1000 euros. Invoices and evidence of the expenses should be presented for the reimbursement.

The holder of the grant must attend the conference in person in order to receive the grant.

To apply for the grant, please send the following information via email to andreas.gavrielides@uantwerpen.be no later than August 25th, 23:59 Central European Time.

  • Full name and current affiliation address (the country of affiliation counts, not the country of birth or permanent residency)
  • The ID of the accepted paper, if any.
  • Certificate of affiliation (student ID, confirmation of employment or similar)
  • CV
  • Motivation letter why you would like to participate in the conference and what you expect from the participation; discuss your career level

Priority will be given to:

  • First authors of accepted papers (in this order: full paper, work in progress, PhD forum)
  • Low income countries
  • Students
