Submission Guidelines
Paper Submission Instructions
High-quality papers, in double-column ACM format are invited (please see below section templates). The page limit for the different type of submission is:
- Main Track and Special Tracks Paper Submission should be a maximum of nine (9) pages.
- Work-in-Progress papers should be a maximum of six (6) pages.
- Ph.D. track papers should be a maximum of four (4) pages.
The conference language is English. Papers should present the Scientific, Technical and Visionary Research work, and must highlight the novelty as well as actual or expected impact, in particular the social impact. All papers using the ACM Template must be submitted online, as a PDF document. Paper submission is open to all researchers.
It is a condition of submitting a paper that:
- The list of authors is not changed after the paper has been submitted for review;
- Following acceptance of papers, authors act on feedback and comments provided by the TPC (at least 3 evaluations), prior to submitting the final paper for publication (camera-ready version);
- Presenters act on feedback provided by the TPC, Track chair, and/or Session Chairs to ensure high quality presentations during the event (in-person presentations);
- Presenters register and pay the participant’s fee by the deadline prior to submitting the final version of the paper.
All papers are anonymously reviewed by the Technical Programme Committee (TPC) (i.e., authors are not aware of who the reviewers were, also called single-blind peer review). A notification of acceptance will be sent to the authors. The Organizing Committee may only communicate with the author who submitted the paper, and not with all authors.
Papers will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Relevance and timeliness
- Experimental/Research methodology
- Novelty and originality
- Writing Quality
- Topic Suitability
Final papers are subject to editorial review and a quality check. Papers not selected for oral presentation may be accepted for presentation in poster sessions.
ACM Templates
Authors are required to us the double column ACM format, which is shown in the image.
Authors should use the templates offered by ACM for Microsoft Word, Latex, Overleaf, but submission is always required in PDF format. Template instructions available here: https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template
Submission of papers (until submission deadline)
Please submit your papers (Full, Special Track, Work-in-Progress, PhD) through our online submission portal, available at https://goodit2025.hotcrp.com.
Submission of Camera Ready version for accepted papers (after acceptance notification deadline)
For those submissions that after evaluation are accepted, there will be specific new instructions for the Camera-Ready version, which follows the TAPS requirements of ACM.
ACM GoodIT 2025 will follow the new workflow defined by the ACM called TAPS, so please read the instructions on the ACM page carefully. This new workflow allows having a final document in both PDF and HTML5 accessible formats.
Authors will be requested to include their Latex / Word sources, high-definition figures/images in order for ACM to be able to generate such high-quality PDF and HTML5 since your future published article will be available in both formats, assuring enhanced accessibility, as mention above.
