Camera-Ready Submission

Camera-Ready Submission Instructions

In the next days after the acceptance notification, the contact author will receive an email from “rightsreview@acm.org” to complete the ACM rights forms.  Please, note that ACM rights management emails are sent from an automated system, these may wind up in SPAM folders. Please make sure that you set SPAM settings to allow emails from rightsreview@acm.org.

While waiting, you can revise your paper on the basis of the received reviews and check the camera-ready template instructions available here: https://www.acm.org/publications/taps/word-template-workflow

After completing the ACM rights form, the contact author will receive an automatic separate email from TAPS (“tapsadmin@aptaracorp.awsapps.com”). This email will contain instructions on how to upload the source files for processing. Again, check carefully also in the SPAM folders and allow emails from such an account.

Please, read very carefully all the instructions included in the TAPS email and all the information about the new templates (and frequent issues) available here: https://www.acm.org/publications/taps/word-template-workflow

The deadline for uploading the camera-ready version on TAPS is July 19th 2025 AoE (please, note that you have to upload the camera-ready version only on TAPS using the link you will receive after completing the ACM rights form, NOT on the hotcrp submission system).

Overview of the TAPS Workflow

All accepted papers must be submitted to the ACM Publishing System (TAPS) for processing into the final PDF and HTML5 formats. Authors must submit either their LaTeX or Microsoft Word source files via the TAPS link sent to their email. Below, we provide a brief overview of the TAPS submission workflow. A full guide on how to use TAPS can be found on the ACM website.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare Your Source Files

You must prepare a ZIP file containing the following folders:

  • source/ (REQUIRED):
    • Your LaTeX source files (.tex) or Word document (.docx)
    • All figures and images used
    • Supplementary files (if any)
  • pdf/ (OPTIONAL):
    • A PDF copy of your final manuscript

Naming conventions:

  • Use only letters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9), dash (-), and underscore (_) in filenames.
  • The ZIP file name must follow this format:
    goodit25-<submissionID>.zip
    Example: goodit25-42.zip

2. Upload Your ZIP File to TAPS

You will receive an email from TAPS with your unique link to:

  • Upload your .zip file (use browser uploader if < 10MB, FTP if ≥ 10MB)
  • Review and approve the generated outputs

📺 Watch the TAPS Tutorial Video (YouTube)

3. Fix Errors (if any)

TAPS will:

  • Validate your submission and notify you of any errors
  • If errors occur, revise your source files and resubmit
  • If everything is correct, you’ll receive:
    • A generated PDF
    • A link to the HTML5 version

You must review and approve both formats in TAPS to complete the process.

Specific Guidelines by Format

LaTeX Users

  • Only one file should have a \documentclass{} command
  • Do not include acmart.cls or ACM templates – TAPS adds these automatically
  • Use only approved LaTeX packages
  • Add the rights text/commands you received when you completed the ACM rights form
  • Ensure correct paths for figures/images

Microsoft Word Users

  • Use the Submission Template and attach the Master Template
  • Validate the document using the ACM Manuscript Validation Tool
  • Do not include rights info – TAPS adds it from the rights form
